Queens RockFest is coming back to Woodhaven

For the second year in a row, Queens RockFest will take over Forest Park with live bands and fun for everyone! This year, eight bands will perform in addition to food trucks and giveaways. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Forest Park Bandshell and is free for everyone!

The event was created by producer and musician George Wasek in efforts to get local musicians back on the stage and introduce them to the community. This year’s lineup includes The Stony Rollers, Two Ton Turntable, Damsel, Arc’d Angel, Ophelias Pain
The Unbroken, Sabretooth and The Phoenix Within.

We had a great turnout last year and are hoping to have another this year. In addition to bands listed we have recently been informed special guest, Dan Nelson formerly of Anthrax will be making an appearance. George Wasek, producer
